The gun used in the recent shooting at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas seems to be a variant of a Nazi battle rifle, experts told the New York Post on Thursday.

Joshua Jahn, 29, used an antique 8mm Mauser rifle during the shooting in Texas. The attack killed one person and injured two others, according to the FBI.

The Mauser, a bolt-action rifle, served as one of the main weapons used by Germany in both world wars, according to the Post.
