Israeli air-defense systems shot down three Houthi drones launched from Yemen on Wednesday night, with the military publishing video of one of the interceptions over the Mediterranean Sea.

Another UAV was earlier intercepted over the Mediterranean and a drone was shot down by Israeli Air Force helicopters, triggering air-raid sirens in Gvulot, a kibbutz in the northwestern Negev.

Video circulating on social media purportedly shows the interception in the Negev and a picture on social media allegedly shows the remains of the downed drone.

No injuries or damage was reported from the three drone incidents.

Overnight last Saturday, the IAF intercepted a missile fired by Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

The projectile was shot down before entering Israeli airspace, the IDF said.

Since the Hamas-led attack of Oct. 7, 2023, Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have launched 40 ballistic missiles and 320 suicide drones at the Jewish state in support of the Hamas terror group in Gaza.
