A rocket launched by Hamas in the Gaza Strip killed a Palestinian in Samaria on Tuesday.

The Palestinian—identified as Ali Muhammad Elyan, 34, from the Arab town of Baqa al-Sharqiya north of Tulkarm—died either from shrapnel or a direct hit, Hebrew media reported.

Palestinian reports blame Elyan’s death on shrapnel from an Iron Dome interceptor.

The Mayor of Baqa al-Sharqiya, Waleen Nathmi, told WAFA, the official Palestinian Authority news outlet, that Elyan died from falling shrapnel while standing in front of his house.

Six other Palestinians were injured by the rocket shrapnel, including two seriously, WAFA reported. Surrounding buildings and homes in the area were also damaged.

Israel’s civilian population has come under consistent rocket barrages from the terrorist group Hamas since the start of the war on the morning of Oct. 7. Sirens have sounded from southern to central Israel, including Jerusalem, sending residents to bomb shelters.

The northern border also heated up on Tuesday.

The Israel Defense Forces attacked two Hezbollah observation posts in Southern Lebanon with artillery fire after terrorists there fired rockets at the Jewish state.

“Around 15 launches were detected from Lebanese territory, air-defense fighters succesfully intercepted four launches, ten launches fell in Lebanese territory,” the IDF tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.

Twenty-three Glock pistols, three Kalashnikov rifles, one M16 rifle and additional weapons were seized.
Two of the operatives were platoon commanders in the PIJ terror group and the other was a deputy company commander in Hamas.
The two nations agreed to hold “a bilateral political dialogue,” Israel’s FM said.
All aerial threats were downed as the waterway remains open for transit, the U.S. Central Command says.
The Mossad reportedly funneled captured terrorist arsenals to Kurdish opposition groups as part of an initiative to destabilize the central government.
“When journalists make these requests, they’re really made on behalf of the public, not to bury the issue and respond 11 months later,” Randy Mastro, a former deputy New York City mayor, told JNS.
