IDF expands digital outreach with Turkish-language platforms

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit launched official digital platforms in Turkish on Wednesday, establishing accounts on the prominent social media networks X and Telegram.

This move comes in response to regional developments and aims to enhance direct communication with Turkish-speaking audiences.

With this expansion, the IDF now operates in seven languages: Hebrew, English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Persian and Turkish.

In its inaugural Turkish-language post on X, an IDF representative welcomed followers, stating: “Welcome to the official X account of the Israel Defense Forces! This platform will provide reliable, real-time updates on IDF-related developments.”
