Israeli forces on Monday neutralized a terrorist who had been attempting to stone civilian traffic in Samaria and had hurled two bottles containing a “dangerous substance” at the troops, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

“The IDF will continue to act to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria to maintain the security of the residents of the region,” the military said.

The IDF recently confirmed to JNS that it had started work on a fence around the Arab village of Sinjil, located just south of Eli in Samaria, in response to repeated rock-throwing attacks emanating from it.

In light of the “recurring terrorist incidents” in the area northeast of Ramallah, according to a statement from the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the army “decided to place a fence to prevent stone-throwing and public disturbances, thereby ensuring the safety of civilians in the region.”

Alyza Lewin, of Combat Antisemitism Movement, told JNS that the district attorney is “getting disqualified from prosecuting a case involving antisemitism” for recognizing modern Jew-hatred.
Korn stated that the vote came a “consequential moment for the Jewish people and the State of Israel.”
The ordinance was proposed after anti-Israel activists repeatedly protested outside the private residence of Rep. Adam Smith.
Sarah Levin, of Jews Indigenous to the Middle East and North Africa, told JNS that “educators are being trained on materials that erase and rewrite Jewish history.”
The U.K. had in 2025 the highest per capita rate of antisemitic assaults of any country with a large Jewish community.
“No Jewish community in this country has been left unscathed over the past several years,” said B’nai Brith Canada’s CEO.
