Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) Director David Zini on Wednesday hosted Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir for a meeting focused on interagency coordination.
According to the ISA, the talks centered on strengthening operational cooperation across multiple fronts and addressing shared challenges during the ongoing “sensitive period.”
Zini and Zamir also joined senior ISA officials for a security briefing and strategic discussions.
On Saturday, Zamir met with Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of United States Central Command (CENTCOM), amid the ongoing American military buildup in the region in response to tensions with the Iranian regime.
