“Eretz Nehederet” (“A Wonderful Country”), Israel’s most popular satire show, broadcasted on Thursday an English-language skit about the most recent Gaza protest flotilla, with one of the comedians playing Swedish anti-Israel activist Greta Thunberg.

The parody starts with three anti-Israel activists sailing mid-sea, as they finally see Gaza’s shores in the distance. Their cries of excitement, however, are cut short when they learn of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

Thunberg’s character, instead of expressing joy over the end of the war, cannot help but grow angry.

“Eretz Nehederet” is produced by Israel’s Channel 12.

Mark Levine “was gonna get grilled,” a source who attends services at the Altneu Synagogue, told JNS. “Neither side wanted an uneasy dinner.”
“They get social credit within their political bases in terms of talking about settler violence and and taking up the side of the Palestinians on issues between them and Israel,” Rafael Mangual of the Manhattan Institute told JNS.
The U.S. envoy also said antisemitism “didn’t exist” during his upbringing and warned of an unintended clash between Israel and Turkey.
“There is not, and there will not be, a Palestinian state,” the Israeli prime minister pledged. He also called for the corruption trial against him to be dropped.
