The Netanyahu Doctrine: How Israel defeated Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas in a year

“Straight Up” with Danny Seaman

Israel’s war doctrine has changed, and the Middle East may never be the same.

Former senior Israeli official Danny Seaman delivers a sweeping year-in-review packed with military victories, regional upheavals, and the rise of what he calls “The Netanyahu Doctrine.” From the elimination of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut to the toppling of the Assad regime and to the daring Mossad digital “Trojan Horse” operation that neutralized thousands of terrorists, this is the story of a historic year that rewrote the rules of deterrence.

Israel dismantled the Iranian nuclear program; decapitated Hamas leadership in Gaza and Qatar; and gained air superiority over the entire Middle East, while many in the West were still clinging to outdated notions of restraint. Meanwhile, a newly assertive Israel—emboldened by decades of hard work, economic preparation and strategic clarity—began reshaping the region, warning its enemies: “Live with us and prosper, or fight us and be doomed.”

Seaman breaks down the failures of appeasement, the myth of perceived Israeli weakness and the unforeseen consequences associated with Oct. 7, 2023.

He also takes aim at U.S. arms restrictions and issues a stark warning about a global axis forming between Russia, China, Iran and their regional proxies.

“This could have been the greatest terrorist tragedy in America since 9/11,” Eric Fingerhut, president and CEO of the Jewish Federations of North America, told JNS.
The outcomes of the primaries show that “being pro-America, pro-Israel is good policy and good politics,” the Republican Jewish Coalition told JNS.
The memo calls on the party to be aware of “the strategic goal of groypers across the nation” to take over the Republican party from within.
The New York City mayor said that he is “grateful that Leqaa has been released this evening from ICE custody after more than a year in detention for speaking up for Palestinian rights.”
“I hope all the folks from Temple Israel know that we’re praying for them,” the U.S. vice president said. “We’re thinking about them.”
The co-author of the K-12 law told JNS that “this attempt to undermine crucial safety protections for Jewish children at a time when antisemitic hate and violence is rampant and rising is breathtaking.”
