A 25-year-old man was moderately wounded by shrapnel during a Hezbollah rocket barrage from Lebanon towards the Mount Carmel area of northern Israel on Tuesday.

Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah reported that their emergency medical teams initially treated the injured individual at the scene, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Megiddo Regional Council. The victim was then transported to Rambam Hospital in Haifa for further evaluation.

Other injuries were reported throughout the day as the Iranian-backed terror army launched over 100 rockets in waves of attacks across the border at communities throughout northern Israel.

Earlier on Tuesday, a 58-year-old woman was lightly injured by shrapnel in the Druze village of Yarka in the Western Galilee, according to MDA. She was transported to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya along with a 61-year-old man suffering from anxiety. They were both sitting in a car at the time of the attack and interception.

MDA teams also treated several people who were injured while running to shelters and others for anxiety.

MDA also said that one of its ambulances was damaged in a Hezbollah attack overnight Monday towards the Jezreel Valley. The windshield was shattered and shrapnel caused additional damage.

The ambulance crew followed Home Front Command instructions and was not inside the rescue vehicle during the siren, resulting in no casualties.

“MDA teams continue to work with full dedication to provide medical assistance, despite the challenging conditions under missile threats,” the emergency medical service said. “MDA forces are always here, in emergencies and daily life, to provide fast and professional care to anyone in need, at any time and in any situation.”

Since Friday, Hezbollah has launched hundreds of rockets at Israel, forcing more than a million people to hole up in bomb shelters. On Monday, Iran’s Lebanese terror proxy fired deeper into Israeli territory than it had since joining the war in support of Hamas on Oct. 8, including at Haifa and northern Samaria.

Hezbollah has fired more than 8,800 rockets, missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) toward Israel since Oct. 8. The strikes have forced over 60,000 Israelis to evacuate from northern communities, severely impacting daily life in the region.
