Mohammed Deif
Deif and Sinwar asked the Quds Force commander to finance “the annihilation of Israel and the fight against the U.S.—and they got it.”
The Islamist group called on Arabs in Judea and Samaria to take to the streets following the confirmation of the deaths of its top leaders.
The younger brother of Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, Mohammad is considered a major planner of the Oct. 7 mass murder attack.
“Hamas is in real trouble from the junior to the senior level. We will continue the effort and reach everyone,” said the Israeli defense minister.
The Israeli defense minister called the killing of the terror leader in Gaza a “significant milestone’ in dismantling Hamas.
The Hamas military leader was killed in an Israeli strike in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza on July 13, according to the Israeli military.
Deif was killed in the same July 13 strike that eliminated Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade commander Rafa’a Salameh.
The recordings do not confirm the death of Hamas’s “military” leader.
Only the Israeli security forces can keep Hamas in check in Judea and Samaria, say Israeli observers.
In a briefing for American Jews, Jack Lew, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, also said he hopes that the Israeli prime minister’s address to Congress is bipartisan.
“We found him, we will also find the next ones in line,” said the IDF chief of staff, referring to Mohammed Deif, the head of Hamas’s armed wing.
Rafa’a Salameh and terror master Mohammed Deif were targeted in the southern Gaza Strip.
