Israel’s 26th Knesset is set to convene for its inaugural session on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m., when all 120 lawmakers will be sworn in during a ceremony attended by Israeli President Isaac Herzog, the Knesset announced.

With 85% of the expected vote counted, El-Sayed had received 2,206,235 votes, or 52%, compared with Republican Mike Rogers’s 1,952,991 votes, or 46%.
“The reports tonight are an earthquake for Israeli democracy,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted to X on Tuesday night.
In response to a question shouted from the press pool, the president said he would not resume strikes on Iran after the election.
“Aiding Hamas would require not just a single collaborator, but an extensive network,” Herzi Halevi said. “Yet, even after three years, not a single such person has been found.”
