Israel Defense Forces soldiers eliminated a female Palestinian terrorist armed with a knife outside the city of Ariel in central Samaria on Tuesday, the Hatzalah Judea and Samaria rescue group said.

No Israelis were wounded in the attempted attack at the Giti Avishar Junction on Route 5, also known as the Trans-Samaria Highway.

According to Israel Hayom, the terrorist had thrown rocks at Jewish drivers, as well as at security forces, leading the soldiers to open fire in self-defense. She pulled out the knife and was subsequently shot dead.

The military confirmed in a statement that the terrorist “threw stones and attempted to stab IDF soldiers,” after which she was “neutralized.”

On Monday, Israeli soldiers detained three Palestinian rock-throwers amid an uptick in stoning attacks throughout Judea and Samaria.

Palestinian terrorists targeted Jews in Judea and Samaria at least 6,343 times in 2024, according to figures published by Rescuers Without Borders (Hatzalah Judea and Samaria) on Feb. 17.

Twenty-seven Israelis were murdered in Judea and Samaria in 2024, and more than 300 others were wounded, the group said in its annual report.

“The Strait of Hormuz is open to all ship traffic except for Iran,” the U.S. president wrote.
The amendment “would restrict our country’s ability to confront Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations in the region who are sworn enemies of both the United States and Israel,” the House minority leader said.
“We are prepared for any scenario,” the prime minister assured.
Melissa Chaudhry, who is running in Washington state as a Democrat but has said she would switch to the Green Party, told JNS that she was “forced into a corner by an aggressive and dishonest political opponent.”
Eyal Ostrinsky told JNS that the 125-year-old Zionist institution is broadening its support for Jewish communities worldwide, while reaffirming its mission of settlement, forestry and national development.
“This was just an opportunistic move and then not really sincere,” the Jewish congressman said of his fellow House Democrat.
