Ronen Bar

An Israeli delegation led by Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar will reportedly travel to Egypt for renewed talks.
The violence around the Stade de France was limited, likely because 4,000 cops were deployed.
Ronen Bar’s Egypt visit would mark the first by a senior Israeli official to that country since Aug. 22.
“Any participation by them in a mass event requires a protected space.”
Ronen Bar is also expected to discuss future security control of the Rafah border crossing and construction of an underground barrier between Gaza and Egypt.
ISA chief Ronen Bar will lead the probe into the events of and preceding the deadly Hamas attack on southern Israel.
“As the one who is at the head of the organization, the responsibility for this is on me,” said director of Israel’s Security Agency Ronen Bar.
Starting in September, “light” terrorists can’t be paroled under administrative release, exacerbating the congestion.
“A country that leans toward involving the Shin Bet in every complex issue will transform into a very different country,” Ronen Bar said.
The talks coincided with visits to Washington by Israeli National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will cut short his trip to Berlin following an unexplained bombing in northern Israel earlier in the week.
“The atmosphere is heating up,” Shin Bet head Ronen Bar told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Justice Minister Yariv Levin.
