Tamika Mallory
Tamika Mallory “is a notorious trafficker of Jew-hatred in America, a defender for Louis Farrakhan’s vicious vitriol against Jews,” the Lawfare Project wrote.
“This is an opportunity for Vice President [Kamala] Harris to speak out against anti-Semitism,” it said in a statement.
The movement told the outlet that the three would “transition off of the Women’s March Board and onto other projects focused on advocacy within their respective organizations.”
“Everyone has a right to exist. I just don’t feel that everyone has a right to exist at the disposal of another group,” said Tamika Mallory.
This development comes amid accusations of anti-Semitism within the movement’s leadership, causing many organizations to drop their support of the this year’s march, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19.
“Anyone who propagates hateful messages is free to express their opinions as they wish, but should not be given a public platform at an educational establishment to do so,” said Liora Rez of the Center for Combating Hate in America.
While the Women’s March was founded in opposition to U.S. President Donald Trump’s policies and views, many involved feel that the leadership has taken the movement in the wrong direction, citing anti-Semitism, support for BDS movement and their close ties of with Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan.
Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory have been repeatedly slammed for praising Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a known anti-Semite.
“Zioness rejects the divisive examples of Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory and others who claim to be ‘leaders’ of women, while they continue to support anti-Semitic, homophobic figures like [Louis] Farrakhan.”
The Women’s March For All, an offshoot of the 2017 Women’s March on Washington, launched an online petition last week that has gotten 360 signatures so far.
“Be clear: Donald Trump’s wall + #muslimban + #deportation plan are all lines out of the #Netanyahu book of oppression. Trump has referenced this himself. We ought pay attention & not allow folks to label us + try to black list us in to silence. #JusticeDelegation (more 2 come),” she said in a tweet.
