The Council for a Secure America (CSA) today released the 15th edition of its report on the ongoing war between Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. Released at intervals over the past year, the reports provide independently sourced and linked updates and analysis on the war, the Oct. 7 massacre, and a detailed analysis of Israel’s response, emphasizing the role that energy security plays in the United States and the Middle East.

The CSA Israel-Hamas War Report is used and cited by members of Congress, and has been presented across the country to state and federal policymakers, major energy conferences and various community organizations.

Key points of emphasis in this most recent report are Israel’s response to an Iranian attack, the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and new revelations about Hamas’s planning of the Oct. 7 massacre.

“Yahya Sinwar’s death marks a significant turning point in the global fight against terror and extremism in the Middle East,” said CSA executive director, Jen Sutton. “As the leader of Hamas in Gaza, Sinwar’s actions fueled violence against Israelis and Palestinians and caused the suffering of countless innocent lives. His removal from the battlefield sends a strong message that those who seek to destroy Israel and destabilize the region will be held accountable. We applaud America’s close cooperation with Israel in the hunt for Sinwar over the last year. This, coupled with Israel’s recent decisive response to Iranian aggression, underscores the unwavering resolve of Israel and the United States to protect freedom and democracy. Our nations stand together in defending not only Israel’s security but also the shared values of peace, prosperity, and the right to live free from the threat of terrorism. As CSA continues to provide these critical reports and briefings, we remain committed to ensuring that truth, facts, and informed analysis are available as a resource.”

The report pulls from more than 100 mainstream media outlets and think tanks and includes hyperlinks and citations throughout the document. The information is all open source and in the public domain and can be shared or cross-posted freely.

CSA regularly conducts briefings, educational symposia, and research on the benefits of energy security and the reasons it is in the United States’s best interest to maintain a strong alliance with Israel. Since Oct. 7, CSA has compiled and released a constantly updated, open-source, and hyperlinked report on the Israel-Hamas war—the only report of its kind.
