Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to a special Knesset session on the issue of the hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza.
“We will be intensifying the fighting in the coming days,” said the Israeli premier.

The PM also denied “erroneous reports” that the U.S. had prevented Israel from taking action against other hostile entities in the region.

The premier’s comments came after National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi appeared to indicate that Jerusalem has softened its position.
“We are attacking Hamas with fire—hellish fire. Everywhere, including today,” said the Israeli premier.
The Israeli and Indian premiers discussed the importance of securing the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
