Daring Israeli rescue discredits appeasement

The only way to stop the cycle of Islamic terrorism is to stop cutting deals with the terrorists.

Daniel Greenfield is an Israeli-born journalist and columnist with nearly 20 years of experience writing for conservative publications. His work spans national and international stories, covering politics, history, and culture. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with industry legends like David Horowitz, interviewed senators and congressmen, and shared the stories of ordinary people overcoming extraordinary challenges. His first book, Domestic Enemies: The Founding Fathers’ Fight Against the Left, explores the forgotten struggles that shaped America’s early history.

After months in which it was falsely claimed that the only way to rescue hostages was to cut a deal with Islamic terrorists, Israel launched a daring daylight rescue operation, simultaneously hitting two houses where four hostages were being held.

The operation brought together the Israel Defense Forces, the Israel Security Agency (its version of the FBI), and the Israel Police National Counter-Terror Unit “Yamam,” penetrating deep into enemy territory in a risky rescue mission that required precise timing and holding off hordes of terrorists who swarmed to attack the rescuers.

Despite the odds, Israel pulled it off. And the media and the political establishment doubled down on the narrative.

The White House and international leaders repeated their demands for a “ceasefire” that would leave Hamas in power and ready to launch another Oct. 7.

The media eagerly passed on the Hamas claims of “mass civilian casualties.”

Both were responding to the fact that the operation had once again shown that the only right and moral thing to do is to defeat the terrorists.

There is only one way to stop the cycle of Islamic terrorism and that is to stop cutting deals with the terrorists.

Jerusalem will not allow “any breach of the lawful naval blockade on Gaza,” the Foreign Ministry said.
“A terrorist who murders Jews must know that the outcome will not be a prisoner release deal,” National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said.
The president was expected to talk with Netanyahu as he weighs restarting U.S. military action.
David Greenfield, CEO of Met Council, told JNS that the video “has strained relationships with a lot of us in the leadership, who have tried to work in good faith with the administration.”
U.S. President Donald Trump, who sought to unseat Cassidy, stated that “his disloyalty to the man who got him elected is now a part of legend, and it’s nice to see that his political career is over.”
Piker, who has said he’d choose Hamas over Israel “every single time,” is scheduled to make appearances in the UK in early June.
