A military court gave Ahmad Asafra life plus 25 years and ordered him to pay the family of Dvir Sorek $450,000 in damages.
Ahmad Asafra has not yet been sentenced; cell member Yusef Zohar received life plus 15 years for security offenses.

Israeli court rejects an appeal by the suspects’ families, paving the way for the demolition of the two family homes near Hebron.
Both are from a town near Hebron; one has been linked to Hamas.
The suspect has been identified as Ammar Thawabteh, 29, of the Palestinian village of Beit Fajjar. His role in the attack is still unknown.
