Speaking at the IDF Induction Center (Bakum) at the Dori Camp in Ramat Gan on Monday, IDF Chief Artillery Officer Brig. Gen. Yair Natans, who has been designated as the next commander of the IDF Ground Forces, spoke of the excitement of the female fighters.

It’s “a festive day. We’re here at the induction chain, and you can see the number of female combat recruits and the parents arriving and flowing in. I’m even drafting the daughter of my cousin, who is enlisting to be a combat soldier in the corps,” he said, according to Channel 12.
