Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon simultaneously attacked Israel’s central and northern regions on Wednesday evening, sending millions of civilians scrambling for shelter, the Israel Defense Forces said.

According to the IDF Home Front Command, rocket sirens sounded in the entire area from Kfar Saba, a northern suburb of Tel Aviv, to Haifa.

“Following alerts that were activated a short time ago in several areas in the center of the country and in the Carmel region, some five launches were detected that crossed [into Israel] from Lebanon,” the IDF said.

It noted that while the Israeli Air Force intercepted several rockets, “hits were detected” in the latest rocket barrage from Lebanon.

The Magen David Adom emergency response group said that its medics in the Kfar Saba area treated a 60-year-old woman for a head wound after she was hit by a motorcycle during the alarms.

Shortly after the rocket attacks, the IDF announced that a Hezbollah suicide drone exploded in an open area in the Galilee panhandle. No casualties were reported in the incident, according to the military.

On Tuesday afternoon, a rocket fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon scored a direct hit in the northern Israeli city of Nahariya, killing two Israelis.

In addition, two people in their 30s sustained light wounds from rocket shrapnel in Kibbutz Kabri in the Western Galilee. Both victims were evacuated to Nahariya’s Galilee Medical Center for treatment.

Rockets were also fired on Tuesday toward Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan and Petach Tikvah, as well as significant population centers in the Sharon region, including Herzliya, Ra’anana and Kfar Saba.

“If the war continues on schedule, more or less six to eight weeks, then the U.S. has succeeded beyond the dreams of war planners,” he said. “People don’t appreciate just how great this war is going.”

Two suspects were arrested on suspicion of disseminating materials glorifying terrorism.
“The disciplinary process before the Bureau is ongoing and remains confidential. No decisions have been taken, and no weight should be given to recent media speculation,” an internal ICC memo said.

The U.S. president said the contacts were “in depth, detailed, and constructive,” and could lead to a “complete and total resolution” of the conflict.
The ministry says 123 remain hospitalized, including 15 in serious condition.
Steps were taken to mitigate harm to noncombatants, according to the Israeli military.
