The Canadian Department of National Defence has selected Elbit Systems UK, whose parent organization is Israel’s Elbit defense company, to purchase the Torch-X battle-management application, the company announced on Tuesday.

The procurement was made as part of Canada’s Airspace Coordination Centre Modernization Project, said the statement.

“The project requires the delivery of a digitized information-based system for air situational awareness,” it described, as well as for “enhanced airspace coordination and management into headquarters. The solution to be supplied will be provided to the Canadian Military Headquarters for both Land and Joint Command in order to support air missions and joint-task force operations.”

Under the terms of the project, Elbit Systems UK will supply a joint air version of the Torch-X application. The system constantly displays a local air picture, “thus enabling effective coordination of air assets into complex land and joint battlespace,” said Elbit.

It will also enable connectivity to the Canadian Armed Forces’ existing applications and datalinks.

“Such hate has no place in our schools or our state, especially as we begin Jewish American Heritage Month,” said Maryland Gov. Wes Moore.
“While our ability to provide additional information at this time is limited, we will continue to keep the community informed,” the private D.C. university stated.
“This is not a prank. It was an act of intimidation meant to spread fear,” Vince Gasparro, a Liberal parliamentarian, told JNS.
“We welcomed this traitor into our nation with open arms,” the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan said. “And he repaid us by building a bomb and helping our great enemy.”
The “failed approach” to lasting peace between the countries has “allowed terrorist groups to entrench and enrich themselves, undermine the authority of the Lebanese state and endanger Israel’s northern border,” said State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott.
“One has to wonder how that humble pie tastes for the Democrats today,” Sam Markstein of the Republican Jewish Coalition told JNS.
