Israeli soldier Matan Misan showed off his hand-walking and pushup skills in Times Square on Friday, after sustaining critical injuries during combat operations in Gaza that led to the loss of both his legs.

The Embassy of Israel to the United States highlighted the event on social media.

“Israeli resilience on full display! In the heart of Times Square, less than two years after being critically wounded while fighting in Gaza, Matan Misan showed that no matter the injuries, he is unstoppable,” the embassy wrote in an X post accompanied by video of his performance.

Misan served in the Givati Brigade’s Reconnaissance Battalion.
