The upstate congresswoman said that she wanted to take on “the raging defund-the-police, tax-hiking antisemite communist who will destroy New York.”
“This grant program will enable nonprofit organizations in high-risk areas of New York to prepare for and mitigate potential threats before they happen,” the New York governor said.
“As the home of the largest Jewish population outside of Israel, we mourn this tragedy and continue to pray for the safe return of the remaining hostages, an end to the war and a lasting peace,” the governor stated.
The candidate will “approach antisemitism in line with the Biden administration’s National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism,” said a spokesperson for his campaign.
“Washington will be watching this situation very closely,” the U.S. president wrote. “No reason to be sending good money after bad.”
After discussing Jew-hatred with Mamdani, the New York governor said she has “been glad to see him meet with Jewish leaders across the city, listening and addressing their concerns directly.”
“No one should fear for their safety while trying to get an education,” stated Kathy Hochul, the New York governor.
In an interview, she was asked if that was a possibility.
Sen. Ted Cruz denounced the New York governor and said, “you should wear a hijab every day, because you are so damn decent.”
While there are currently no “credible threats” to New York, the “State Police Hate Crimes Task Force is on high alert, ready to assist anyone who needs help,” the governor announced.
A memo includes two articles disputing the claim that “New York is standing idly by while antisemitism and hate crimes are committed with impunity.”
“Raging antisemitism in New York is appeased and promoted by Kathy Hochul and her failing antisemitic Democrat Party,” said Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.).
