U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that his latest telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu focused on Iran.

Asked about the conversation on Saturday and what the two leaders discussed, Trump said, “A good call with Netanyahu. We talked about Iran,” according to Israel’s Channel 12.

The conversation came as Washington weighs its next steps with regard to Tehran, including ongoing diplomatic efforts and the possibility of renewed military action.

“If the case is successful, if we’re able to come to a successful resolution of this matter, that will be what you might call the soil out of which CCJ will grow,” Rabbi Gary Zola, founding president of the College for Contemporary Judaism, told JNS.
The president has decided to start with smaller parties first.
The Israeli prime minister called cooperation with Abbas and Tibi a “disaster"; Eisenkot says lawmakers accepting his principles could be partners.
The two nations’ cooperation carries “important regional and international significance,” said Somaliland President Abdullahi.
