“Threats against synagogues and Jewish Americans are threats to the religious freedom promised to every single one of us,” according to the Justice Department.
“By immersing these cadets and midshipmen in the history of Auschwitz and the Holocaust, we hope to inspire ethical leadership rooted in humanity and justice,” said the chairman of the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation.
“The Jewish community will continue to suffer if we do not increase this funding to at least $500 million,” Rep. Dan Goldman said.

In that span, the Jewish population went up from about 14 to 15 million, “fewer than the estimated 16.6 million Jews who were alive in 1939 prior to the Holocaust.”
“Everyone will have their own viewpoints on certain matters, but there’s a lot that we’ll be united on,” Herbert Block, of the American Zionist Movement, told JNS.
“In many cases, our concerns have been dismissed,” Matthew Friedman, of the ADL, stated about raising the alarm on “the type of violent rhetoric we saw espoused during the recent attacks.”
“As soon as we filed this action, within two hours, they returned the flight,” a lawyer for the plaintiffs told JNS.
“Those participating in violence and criminal activity which endangers others will be expelled, arrested and held fully accountable,” the president of Cal Poly wrote.
“This is a world leader in human rights, and this is what they do?” said Philip Khazzam, descendant of the property’s owners.
