Koach Eitan is an Israel-based nonprofit that empowers individuals, families and communities affected by brain injury, stroke and aphasia. Founded in 2017 by Leora and Eitan Ashman following Eitan’s stroke at age 42, it is the first organization in Israel to provide peer-to-peer support, ensuring that no family leaves rehabilitation without the support they need to guide them forward. Koach Eitan raises public and communal awareness of aphasia through educational resources and programs and provides caregiver support and accessible Jewish resources for individuals and families living with aphasia.
