Pro-judicial reform-goers after bus company cancels: ‘Jerusalem or bust!’

Those headed to Jerusalem for the “March of the Million” sought other last-minute transportation options.

An hour before more than half a dozen buses were slated to leave Karnei Shomron to transport pro-judicial reform Israelis to the “March of the Million” rally in Jerusalem, event organizers announced that the bus company had canceled. They recommended that attendees drive to the event instead.

One participant said that the scramble in the 11th hour did not put a damper on plans.

A message on a WhatsApp group warned that unknown saboteurs were posting erroneous information, like saying that shuttles would depart 45 minutes late, to decrease attendance.

“All shuttles leave as planned,” an organizer stated. “Only the shuttle manager in each area is authorized to issue a notice regarding a change.”

“They can’t stop us,” a protester told JNS. “We are going to Jerusalem to support judicial reform. Jerusalem or bust!”
