Steve Witkoff

U.S. Mideast envoy Witkoff expressed confidence that “in the coming days, we’ll be able to announce some sort of breakthrough.”
“It’s a very comprehensive plan we are putting together on the next day,” said U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff.
The U.S. envoy is meeting with Israeli officials to discuss the hostage crisis and plans to expand Gaza aid after failed truce negotiations.
“We will now consider alternative options to bring the hostages home,” the U.S. Mideast envoy wrote.
However, reports indicated the U.S. Mideast envoy was heading to Italy for talks with senior Qatari and Israeli officials.
“We have an opportunity to finally get a peace deal, Mr. Prime Minister, as we discussed, and I’m hopeful for it very quickly,” the U.S. envoy told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Talks with Tehran show promise, said the U.S. Middle East envoy, who hinted at “an array” of new countries joining the Abraham Accords normalization agreements.
The president said recent U.S. strikes set the regime’s atomic ambitions back decades.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi insists Jerusalem stop its attacks before negotiations on Tehran’s nuclear program can resume.
“Beyond the humanitarian and moral aspect, the release of the hostages is of paramount importance to us in order to also create regional peace,” said White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt.
U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff has conveyed to the Iranian regime a “detailed and acceptable” updated proposal.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel had accepted the American framework, which includes provisions for the release of hostages from Gaza.
