An unidentified man slashed an Israeli flag displayed at a home in Pittsburgh’s Mexican War Streets neighborhood on the evening of Jan. 17, according to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.

The incident has been classified by police as criminal mischief.

Police said the suspect, described as a white male with long hair and a mustache, parked a white pickup truck with its license plate covered in blue tape near the home located in the 1500 block of Buena Vista Street about 7 p.m. He then approached the property with a knife, slashed the flag and left the scene.
