Washington’s threat sends a “dangerous message” to two countries’ common enemies, says the pro-Israel group.
The Israeli defense minister reiterated his commitment to changing the security situation on the Lebanese border.
“The United States is the most important ally of Israel—and more central than ever before,” the Israeli defense minister stated.
“When you call three days after the attack for ‘ceasefire,’ what you’re really saying is, ‘We want Hamas to keep the hostages and now we want to start negotiating,’” said Westchester County Executive George Latimer.
U.S. support is critical to Israel’s victory and to deter our common enemies across the world, the defense minister told the visiting delegation.
“Absent decisive leadership at the White House, Congress must stand in the breach defending our allies and our sovereignty,” said Rep. Chip Roy, of Texas.
The nearly-30-year veteran of the group “has been at the center of AIPAC’s policy discussion on a daily basis,” it said.
“If we don’t see changes from their side, there’ll have to be changes from our side,” White House advisor John Kirby said.
Howard Kohr is the sort of leader who “comes along every decade or so, and makes a major impact on Jewish life in their generation,” said Chabad Rabbi Levi Shemtov.
“We will work together to upgrade the humanitarian aid to Gaza and to bring the hostages back home,” the Israeli president said.
Howard Kohr “helped transform AIPAC into the successful, respected, and enduring force that it is today,” the pro-Israel lobby stated.
Contrary to the picture being presented in America, the vast majority of the Israeli public is behind the government’s war goals, said the prime minister.
