Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib is running for re-election in Michigan’s 13th Congressional District on Aug. 4 • Rep. Ilhan Omar is running for re-election in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District on Aug. 11.

The only names cited are Jewish ones: billionaire Jonathan Gray, retired real estate executive Stanley Weinstein and billionaire hedge-fund owner Seth Klarman.

In an interview with JNS, Melton-Meaux said “to the extent that I can be a useful partner on the issue of U.S.-Israel [relations] or how we communicate with each other in a supportive, thoughtful way, especially on issues of anti-Semitism or other race issues, I am proud to be a part of that.”
