Campus Antisemitism

The university “cannot maintain a double standard regarding Jews and claim not to engage in discrimination,” Rabbi Yaakov Menken of the Coalition for Jewish Values told JNS.
Thirty-eight institutions on the list hail from the United States, 14 from China, eight from the United Kingdom, five from Australia, and four each from France and Germany.
“I am acutely aware of the trials the university has faced over the past year,” wrote the new leader, who holds multiple positions at the Ivy League school.
“Columbia’s next leader must take bold action to address the pervasive antisemitism, support for terrorism and contempt for the university’s rules that have been allowed to flourish on its campus,” said Rep. Virginia Foxx.
The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California ruled that UCLA must not offer programs, activities or campus access to all students if some Jews are barred from them.
“My office will continue to aggressively investigate and prosecute threats and acts of violence motivated by antisemitism and by hatred of any kind,” stated the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of New York.
Meanwhile, they overwhelmingly passed two anti-Israel resolutions.
They are against students who were involved in two incidents against the Jewish fraternity AEPi.
One student told JNS on the sidelines of an Israel on Campus Coalition event that “there are many days when I worry for my safety.”
