A memorial in Poland dedicated to the memory of the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto has been defaced, marking yet another instance of vandalism targeting Holocaust memorials in the country.
Pipko deserves attention for “his remarkable Jewish mother, Simona Pipko, who was a prominent defense attorney in the USSR in political cases and has staunch anti-authoritarian credentials,” Garry Kasparov wrote.
“The expansion of Israeli defense exports during the war is a direct result of Israeli technologies proving themselves on the battlefield,” said Israeli Defense Ministry Director General Maj. Gen. (res.) Eyal Zamir.
