The U.S. president and European leaders have expressed support for Israel’s battle against the terrorist group.
“We have reports that several Americans were killed,” said U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
“We feel abandoned, that no one cares about us,” said Orit Meir, whose son was abducted.
“We’ll reach each and every community and kill every terrorist in Israel,” said IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari.
Hamas claims to have abducted 163 Israelis.
