Gideon Sa’ar
Gideon Sa’ar warned that the Israel Defense Forces would continue to act until Hezbollah moves its forces north of the Litani River.
Planned acquisitions include the Israeli Navy’s next-generation “Reshef” missile ships and hundreds of new Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV).
FM Gidon Sa’ar acted after Caspar Veldkamp’s support for arrest warrants for Prime Minister Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Gallant.
“We need to keep the freedom to act if there will be violations. And we will have to act in time, before the problem will grow,” the foreign minister said.
According to the E.U. Council, the sanctions will target ports and ships involved in transporting Iranian missiles and drones.
Israel’s foreign minister sent a letter to the U.N. Security Council warning that the attacks could “further drag the region in a very dangerous escalation.”
A nuclear Iran would threaten the entire Middle East, Israel’s foreign minister said.
The Foreign Ministry will always proudly represent the State of Israel and what it represents, Gideon Sa’ar said.
Israel Katz became the Jewish state’s defense minister, while Sa’ar assumes the role of foreign minister.
Israeli Navy assets are deployed “in line with ongoing situational assessments,” according to the IDF.
“This move contributes to unity among us, and unity against our enemies,” said Netanyahu.
The defense minister reportedly “admitted some mistakes and offered to open a new page.”
