The British comedian John Cleese, of Monty Python fame, has canceled three upcoming performances in Israel, which had already been postponed from June, Israeli media reported.

The promoter, Alon Yurik, reportedly said Cleese had given in to the movement to boycott the Jewish state.

In recent days, Cleese has shared several anti-Israel posts on social media, including one quoting actor Mandy Patinkin saying that the Israeli prime minister is “endangering Jews all around the world” and a post calling for Miriam Adelson, who is Jewish, to be kicked out of the United States.

Cleese has shared posts by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who recently called Adelson, an American, an “Israeli citizen” who “is buying politicians.”

The analysis found that Cole Allen, who faces multiple felony charges for the April 25 attack, had “multiple social and political grievances” and cited his social media posts criticizing the war.
A spokesman for the New York City Economic Development Corporation told JNS that a Japan page was also taken down.
The incident occurred as America continues its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
The suspect, who was 17 at the time of the offense, is due in court on May 20.
In a letter to the U.S. State Department, the Democratic legislators pressed the Trump admin to revoke its condemnation of the flotilla and rescind calls for port restrictions from allies.
Police told JNS that an officer was injured as a result of protesters attempting to remove barriers and that no arrests were made.
