The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israel Police are investigating the possibility that an apparent traffic accident in Tel Aviv last week was actually a terrorist attack.

According to a police statement, a motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries in a collision with a private vehicle on Tel Aviv’s Abarbanel Street on Friday.

The vehicle’s driver, a 31-year-old Palestinian, was in the country illegally, and was placed under arrest, and transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
