Shin Bet confirms it thwarted attempts on lives of Israel’s premier, Jerusalem’s mayor
Israel’s Shin Bet security services revealed on Tuesday that they succeeded in thwarting an assassination attempt on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat in April.

Palestinian fires at Israeli police south of Jerusalem
The 20-year-old resident of Beit Sahur, near Bethlehem, fired a pistol from the town of Al-Khader at Israeli Border Police staffing a checkpoint on the tunnel road from Judea to Jerusalem.
The sifting project, which has operated since 2004 in the Emek Tzurim National Park, aims to salvage religious and historical artifacts from the rubble, as well as to educate the public about the veracity of Jewish history on the Mount.

Look at the archaeological evidence. If we believe in truth, the truth will win.”
“Today, we follow through on this recognition and open our embassy in the historic and sacred land of Jerusalem,” U.S. President Donald Trump said in a video greeting.
