The Jewish Link, a weekly newspaper based in New Jersey, has announced an editorial and distribution expansion to Manhattan.

The independent newspaper is the flagship product of the Jewish Link Media Group and is affiliated with The Queens Jewish Link, The Philly Jewish Link, The Bukharian Jewish Link and The Monsey Mevaser.

Known as “The Link,” the paper delivers a blend of pro-Israel and pro-Jewish breaking community news and features. Since inception in 2014, it has grown steadily and become a mainstay for Torah-observant families, young professionals and retirees.

In recent years, The Jewish Link published two newspapers: a New Jersey-based paper covering Bergen, Essex, Middlesex, Passaic and Union counties, and a second paper reaching communities in the Bronx, Westchester and Connecticut. This past spring, the papers combined forces, creating one paper for the entire region and one of the largest Jewish community papers in the region.

The Jewish Link regularly publishes analysis and op-eds from JNS editor in chief Jonathan S. Tobin and original features by Rabbi Gil Student of Torahmusings, and recently launched a reboot of Jordan B. Gorfinkel’s comic strip, featured for the past 25 years in The Jewish Week. It also publishes original breaking news and features by its staff of more than 20 contributing writers from all over the tri-state area.

“Many of our staff and readers have lived or worked in Manhattan, so it’s a natural expansion,” said Moshe Kinderlehrer, The Jewish Link’s co-founder and co-publisher. “We’ve reported on many stories originating in Washington Heights, Yeshiva University and Upper Manhattan quite often in our paper, so this fall we have begun formalizing our dedication to these communities by delivering to homes and stores on the Upper West Side, Upper East Side and Lower East Side.”

Mark (“Mendy”) Schwartz, co-publisher of The Jewish Link, added that “this move is long overdue. The Link is essential reading for all of us in New Jersey, and as our communities continue to grow—and as our schools continue to draw students from one area to the other and become more interconnected—it makes a lot of sense to have one paper where we can all share news and information.”

“The expansion of our emergency services will help us better care for patients with the most serious injuries, ensuring they receive the specialized treatment they need, when it matters most,” the hospital said.
“Once again your decisive leadership brought another great victory to America,” the Israeli leader says.
“My intent was to honor our Jewish neighbors and friends,” Nathalie Kanani stated. “We are all human, and even with the best intentions, honest mistakes can happen.”
The man was recognized by police officers while attending a court hearing of the three other suspects connected to the case.
The U.S. president warned that the U.S. military will begin targeting Iranian power plants and bridges on Tuesday if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened.
