“The mission in Judea and Samaria is clear: to thwart terrorism and defend the communities,” Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir told troops.
“I wouldn’t tell the British where to build in London,” the Israeli ambassador said. “We see E1 as part of greater Jerusalem.”
The U.S. ambassador to Israel criticized European governments for pushing unilateral statehood, saying they should be pressuring Hamas and not Jerusalem.
