Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with a delegation of U.S. lawmakers in Jerusalem on Tuesday, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Netanyahu thanked the group, which is visiting the Jewish state with the U.S. Israel Education Association, for their “steadfast support of Israel and spoke with them about regional issues,” the PMO announced.

The delegation included Reps. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.), John Moolenaar (R-Mich.) and Scott Franklin (R-Fla.). The lawmakers were said to have praised Jerusalem’s “unique contribution to U.S. national security.”

USIEA, a pro-Israel, Christian-founded organization, together with the longer-standing AIPAC, has succeeded in pushing Congress to more than triple the budget for Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.

In August 2025, USIEA founder Heather Johnston accompanied House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and others on a visit to Samaria, during which Johnson said the region belongs to the Jewish people “by right.”
