Alyza Lewin, of Combat Antisemitism Movement, told JNS that the district attorney is “getting disqualified from prosecuting a case involving antisemitism” for recognizing modern Jew-hatred.
The U.K. had in 2025 the highest per capita rate of antisemitic assaults of any country with a large Jewish community.
“No Jewish community in this country has been left unscathed over the past several years,” said B’nai Brith Canada’s CEO.

Government and university officials declined to sanction an academic who called the Oct. 7 massacre “the most beautiful thing that has happened in our century.”
Jewish leaders criticized a call by envoys from 25 countries to fight Jew-hatred because it did not mention that the Jewish state was a lightning rod.
“Despite the attacks on our coverage from opposing directions on a near-daily basis, we will not let critics or advocacy campaigns deter us from such independent reporting,” a spokesman for the paper told JNS.
“These are not just numbers on a page but are lived experience of all Jewish Americans,” Rep. Brad Knott said, of Jew-hatred, on the House floor.
“Jewish New Yorkers constitute a minority of New Yorkers across the five boroughs and yet constitute a majority of New Yorkers who face hate crimes in this city,” the New York City mayor said.
“These disturbing incidents further reinforce the importance of clear and transparent safe-access policies,” said Mark Treyger, CEO of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York.
