An elderly Jerusalem couple was found murdered in their apartment in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood on Sunday in what police suspect as a double homicide.
Tamar, 68, and Yehuda Kaduri, 71, were found by authorities when their daughter contacted police after not being able to reach her parents over the course of several days.
Police broke down the door, and discovered the Kaduris with stab wounds and other signs of violence.
Last week, a teenage girl called police after reporting that she was stabbed with a sharp object by a man at a bus stop in the area. The assailant escaped.
