An 18-year-old girl was hospitalized with serious wounds on Monday after being stabbed multiple times on a street in Afula in northern Israel. It was unclear whether the attack was criminal or terrorist in nature.

After being stabbed, the girl managed to stagger ahead a few dozen feet until she collapsed outside a cafe. According to various media reports, she told passersby who rushed to her aid that an Arab man had stabbed her.

First responders were scrambled to the scene, and the victim was evacuated to the city’s Ha’emek Medical Center with serious wounds to her upper body.

Police have the suspect in custody and are looking for security camera footage of attack.

Regional security officials said it was used during operations targeting Tehran in 2025 and 2026.
Earlier forecasts feared a 9.5% drop in GDP in the first quarter, but current data point to a much more positive outcome.
The incursion was said to be the fourth within 24 hours and the 14th since the Bashan Pioneers group was founded.
The targets included weapons storage facilities, observation posts and other infrastructure used to plan attacks on Israeli troops and civilians.
Regavim-led visit points to sewage, dumping and construction encroaching on Area C, kilometers from Jewish state’s population centers.
“A terrorist who murders Jews must know that the outcome will not be a prisoner release deal,” National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said.
