StandWithUs

StandWithUs (SWU) is an international, nonprofit, and nonpartisan Israel education organization that works to inspire and educate people of all ages about Israel, as well as challenge misinformation and fight against antisemitism. Through university fellowships, high school internships, middle-school curricula, conferences, materials, social media, educational films and missions to Israel, StandWithUs supports people around the world who want to educate their schools and communities about Israel. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Los Angeles, the organization has chapters and programs throughout the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, Brazil and the Netherlands. For the last 11 years, StandWithUs has consistently received the highest possible ratings from Charity Navigator and GuideStar, two charity watchdog groups that assess hundreds of thousands of charities in the United States.
StandWithUs’s amicus brief observed that, “While masked as a critic of Israel, BDS’s true character is evidenced by its use of hateful anti-Semitic tropes, images, and chants; its engagement in harassment, demonization and delegitimization; and its application of double standards.”
The report relies heavily on eyewitnesses and “expert” sources, yet the physical evidence needed to draw such conclusions has not been made available by the PA. Despite recognizing the necessity of examining the bullet that killed Abu Akleh, CNN strongly implies that Israel is guilty.
New Education Center on King David Street contains a state-of the art auditorium, TV studio and new Visitor’s Experience—poised to host tens of thousands of visitors, students and tourists each year.
Governor Pete Ricketts also proclaimed May to be Jewish American Heritage Month.
StandWithUs CEO Roz Rothstein says, “Thirty-five states have anti-boycott legislation to protect their economies from boycotting a valued trading partner and their citizens from engaging in de facto discrimination. Consequently, we are witnessing states divesting from Unilever and now investigating whether Unilever’s failure to override Ben & Jerry’s boycott directly implicates the company as an active participant in the boycott.”
CEO of StandWithUs Roz Rothstein says, “Historically, anti-Semitism has been so deadly due to its evolving nature, making it difficult to identify and address. Arizona’s legislation is a first step in the right direction given that the IHRA definition addresses contemporary anti-Semitism and provides examples of such behavior.”
At a time when anti-Semitism festers throughout the country and world, measures like these remain necessary to help guide authorities in better being able to classify, address, and prevent anti-Semitic hate crimes.
The StandWithUs letter was also forwarded to the head of the Commission of Inquiry on Israel, Navi Pillay, who has falsely accused Israel of apartheid and is expected to do so in the COI’s eventual report.
“Many Democrats and Republicans are deeply concerned that the deal may fuel more terrorism and conflict across the Middle East, enable Iran’s development of missiles that can carry nuclear weapons, and allow Iran to keep dangerous nuclear capabilities. Congress must be able to review these and other concerns in depth,”
