The Peres Center for Peace and Innovation

The Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, founded in 1996 by the late Israel President Shimon Peres, develops and implements impactful and meaningful programs with a focus on promoting a prosperous Israel; nurturing and highlighting Israeli innovation; and paving the way for shared living between all of Israel’s citizens, as well as lasting peace between Israel and its neighbors.
They are given alongside the international awards presented annually in the United States and Britain.
The joint initiative of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, and ZAKA Tel Aviv, stands as a symbol of resilience and unity.
“I am happy to be here, and send out a message of hope and coexistence from these inspiring young leaders,” said Efrat Duvdevani, director general of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation.
The contest will see winners awarded a cash prize and their work exhibited at the Peres Center’s public plaza.
