Erdoğan hosts Putin and Rouhani for Syria summit

U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper: Any unilateral action against Syria by Turkey is “unacceptable” and would be stopped.
According to Turkey, its soldiers have come under fire from YPG forces, which Ankara has called a “terrorist offshoot” of the Kurdish movement within Turkey that has been fighting for independence since 1984.
Efforts to stop the sale began when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan purchased the advanced Russian S-400 air-defense system.
“Whoever is on the side of Israel, let everyone know that we are against them,” declared Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
“Turkey will no longer be able to receive F-35 stealth jets and Turkish companies removed from the F-35 supply chain will lose $12 billion of revenue,” Ayken Erdemir, a senior fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies.
At least 12 of the plots targeted Turkey, whose security agencies were able to stop potentially catastrophic attacks on its soil as a result.
It should be noted that U.S. federal law prohibits foreign nationals from donating to political candidates.

The United States has already blocked its sale of the F-35 in response to Turkey’s plan to receive the S-400.
