Nearly half of respondents believe Western countries should intervene militarily in Ukraine.
It’s hard to envision an agreement that would give Russian President Vladimir Putin a win and at the same time satisfy Ukraine, said Steven Horrell, a nonresident senior fellow at the Washington, D.C.-based Center for European Policy Analysis.

Israeli Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel described the move as “illogical” and “aggressive.”
“My position remains that the United States must use all diplomatic, informational and economic instruments of national power at our disposal to support Ukraine and deter Russia’s aggression. The purpose and goal must be to help de-escalate this conflict as soon as possible,” Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) said in a news release.
Prior to the war in Ukraine, energy issues were judged by a single yardstick: their environmental impact. What the West is coming to realize is that energy is also about national security and deterrence, said Aykan Erdemir, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

The Ukrainian government approached Knesset Speaker Mickey Levy to arrange the event, which should happen on March 20.
“There is no justification for violating the territorial independence of Ukraine, and there is no justification for attacking civilian populations,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.
