Lecture: JFNA discusses loan eligibility for Jewish nonprofits through the CARES Act

Monday, March 30, 2020 | 4:30pm ET - JFNA will host a webinar open to all Jewish organizations interested in learning more about the loans and the eligibility and application requirements following the passage of the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the largest emergency aid package in U.S. history.

On March 30, at 4:30pm ET, JFNA will host a webinar open to all Jewish organizations interested in learning more about the loans and the eligibility and application requirements following the passage of the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the largest emergency aid package in U.S. history. Participants will hear an overview of the program, learn how to calculate their potential loan amount, and ask questions about how they can prepare to apply for a loan.

Join a webinar on the paycheck protection program and how to apply with JFNA public policy experts and special guest Larry Conley, former Managing Director and National Specialty Finance Executive of JPMorgan Chase Bank.

The CARES Act includes more than $2 trillion to help individuals and businesses struggling amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes a provision for $350 billion in Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, and 501(c)(3) nonprofits with less than 500 employees are eligible for these loans. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, these loans are intended to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn.
