British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss plans to visit Israel in the coming months, Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid spoke with Truss on the phone on Wednesday and extended the invitation.

“Earlier today, I spoke with U.K. Foreign Secretary @TrussLiz. I expressed my appreciation for Britain’s determined stance on the Iranian issue, and we discussed the need for determined action by the international community against Iranian terror,” Lapid tweeted.

Lapid is expected to become the prime minister of a caretaker government until the next elections, which will likely be held in late October.

The 24th Israeli Knesset approved the first reading of a motion on Wednesday to dissolve itself with 110 Knesset members voting in favor and none voting against.
